This magazine features an article of the furthering expansion of space. The article topic is enhanced by the use of space-like graphics. By combining original images with photo manipulation, the design and text become interconnected. When choosing this design, I kept in mind the importance of the audience by providing a short Q&A to engage the audience in the article.
Compose is a hypothetical company that provides a relaxing environment for busy city workers. Compose provides private spaces for relaxation, meditational classes, and soothing aroma therapy and teas. The purpose behind this design was to reflect this aesthetic. The box is for new members to provide a variety of samples to engage them in our services, the small booklet gives simple instructions to the yoga and meditation classes, while the logo itself mimics that of person mediating while having the head represent a cup of tea.
The Hammock Boutique is a company that designs hammocks and provides support to helping and preserving Mayan culture. This Sustainability Report covers the services that the Hammock Boutique offers its community by giving back. The design was heavily influenced by ancient Mayan culture. The colors and geometric use of shape and line further enhances the representation of Hammock Boutique and their contribution to the community.
The famous Bauhaus is holding an open house for all of its famous designers, and you are invited. This invitation strongly pulls influence from the Bauhaus with its strong use of diagonal line and simplistic color use. The dynamic line structure is used to maintain movement throughout the piece. Attached on the inside of the invitation is a small removable RSVP that receivers can send back to reserve there spot at the Bauhaus Open House.

This infographic covers the issues and statistics regarding the inequality between women of color and the wage gap. This design is used to promote a conference regarding the topic at hand. Designed for use on bus rest stops, this design has both front and back graphics. The detailed infograph is placed on the inside of the rest stop, giving the audience the oppurtunity to take in the information; while the other side shows a strong text graphic to grab the attention of the audience.
From the popular title by H.G. Wells, this War of the Worlds book jacket was inspired by the mechanical, alien-like creatures that imposed ultimate annihilation upon the world. The hand-drawn sketch, digitally colored, and carefully arranged cover represents the atmosphere of the book title and its overall concept.
To contrast the plain design of every day medication, my design takes a more interesting turn. Being sick is never fun; however, that does not mean the packaging cannot be. This design offers the option of a side-flap, which is concealed beneath the label, detailing the proper use of the medication. The vibrant colors make the medication easily identifiable and for a much more attention-grabbing label.
The Iconic Series was inspired by Dark Cloud, a game in video entertainment. Each logo pertains to a specific services offered in different chapters of the title: Jurak is a representation of a small landscaping company, Paz-Nos is a gun and saftey control service, Lunar Lab provides advancement in technolgies and sciences, and GeoRama is a world wide construction company.
Children’s book that uses alliteration and vivid illustrations. “The Moon and the Wolf” tackles the subject of death, loss, and reconnection in a manner that understandable and suitable for children.
